Sharing and carving your own Sunday roast now isn’t just a pleasure reserved for the comfort of your own home. This spring, the Kings Head in Cirencester is launching its “Host A Roast” menu.
Kicking off on Mother’s Day, the hotel’s ‘Host A Roast’ is a delicious concept where diners can enjoy a whole succulent joint of lamb, beef or chicken served directly to their table for them to enjoy together.
Guests will be invited to carve the meat for the rest of their group while accompanying vegetables will be served on large sharing platters.
The ‘Host A Roast’ is a three-course concept that allows diners to choose from an A La Carte menu for their starter and dessert course. Starters include favourites such as Goats Cheese Panna Cotta with Beetroot and Hazelnut Granola or a Ham Hock Terrine and sauce Gribiche.
Among the desserts, guests can choose from ever-popular Baked Alaska, a molten Chocolate Fondant Cake with Pistachio or White Chocolate Cheesecake with orange sorbet and orange pate de fruit.
On Mother’s Day itself, all mums will be given a special Lubatti Spa gift to take home. Lubatti is the Kings Head Spa’s house brand for treatments and products. Founded by Jo Malone’s sister, Tracey Malone, Lubatti collections are inspired and developed using Madame Lubatti’s secret recipes, which date back as far as the 1920s. Signature scents include Tuberose & Mimosa, Bergamot & Grapefruit, Sweet Almond and Honey.
General Manager Stephen Mannock said: “Mother’s Day is such a special time for families to be together and for mums to be given a chance to kick back and relax. Our ‘Host A Roast’ concept brings the magic of sharing food at home into a restaurant environment.
“Families can spoil mum with a traditional Sunday roast whilst one member of the family carves the meat for everyone else to enjoy. It brings an element of theatre and entertainment to the table. The best part is that there is no preparation or washing up so mum can truly enjoy herself!”
The Host A Roast on Mothers Day is priced at £35 per person. To book a table, email ku.oc.letoh-daehsgnik@selas or call 01285 700900
