The Silver Ball PR team was celebrating on Friday night after the agency won Gold at the prestigious CIPR awards.
Silver Ball PR was named as the winner of the category for 'Best Use of Media Relations' for its work carried out for client, The Stuart Holmes Hair and Beauty Spa.
The category was one of the most highly contested of the evening with a total of six agencies being shortlisted. However it was Silver Ball PR who was named as the overall winner.
Managing Director Annabel Rayer described the win as a great result for her and her team.
"To win Gold at the CIPR awards is truly fantastic. We are a very young agency with big ideas and big aspirations. This award demonstrates that we are up there with the cream of the industry and have the ability to deliver award-winning PR campaigns," she said.
The judges were highly impressed with Silver Ball's achievements, including extensive national media coverage. The campaign was creative and well executed, and brought a regional hair salon to the attention of national journalists, resulting in an upsurge in clients for Stuart Holmes.
This year's awards attracted 1,221 plus entries from across the UK. The judging process was rigorous with a national panel of industry experts assessing the shortlisted entries and choosing the winners.
Caroline Rawlinson, Chair of CIPR West of England, said: “The CIPR PRide Awards recognise and reward the thriving PR profession from across the UK. They help to celebrate the importance of demonstrating the value of what we, as public relations professionals, do and the positive impact this profession has on all aspects of business. Being named as a CIPR PRide Award winner is a fantastic achievement and I congratulate all of this year’s winners.”
